About Us
Pola Minerals is a privately owned business ran by the owner and his close-knit management team.
Our head office is based in Newcastle upon Tyne, in the North East of England, but we operate where our clients and raw material demand. To that end we currently operate and work with facilities in the UK, France, China and the USA - plus elsewhere when required.
Our aim from the beginning has always been to bring a professional, client focused approach to a very niche product - without losing the personal touch. That continues to this day and our production facility's continued "BRC Grade A+" certification for 2023/24 is the most recent evidence of that.
However, we are nothing without our clients and suppliers, and accordingly we value both extremely highly. Neither are widely available in a business dealing 100% with sea shells, and we pride ourselves on the relationships we have developed on both sides of the business.
We also strongly believe that our product is the best available anywhere in the marketplace.
